Sensible Small Print
Our guarantee is straightforward, with only a few clear exclusions:

• Accidental damage

• Unauthorized alteration or modification

• Extreme exposure to elements (e.g. direct rain, salt spray)

• Misuse or abuse

• Failure to follow our measurement, installation, cleaning or maintenance instructions

• Installation in a non-domestic (commercial) environment

• Normal wear and tear

Product Exclusions

• Fabrics and dyes: normal fading over time

The Legal Stuff
This guarantee is exclusive and replaces all other obligations, liabilities or warranties, whether express or implied. Under no circumstances shall DIY Blinds be liable for incidental or consequential damages, or any direct or indirect loss, cost, expense or fee. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights under applicable national laws.

SureSize Measurement Guarantee

Even experts can slip up when measuring. With our SureSize Measurement Guarantee, you can order with confidence and enjoy a stress-free experience.

• How it works: Add SureSize to your order. If your blind doesn’t fit because of a measuring error, we’ll replace it free of charge in the correct size.

• Claim process:

  1. Notify us within 14 days of delivery.

  2. Provide your order number, details of the blind to replace, and your revised measurements.

  3. Return the original blind in its packaging (we’ll send a free return label).

  4. Your replacement will be manufactured and dispatched at no extra cost.

SureSize Small Print

• Covers up to four blinds per household, one replacement per blind.

• Replacement must match the original product exactly (style, fabric, colour).

• If the new size is larger, you’ll only pay the price difference; if smaller, no refund is issued.

• Not available on Skylight Blinds or Outdoor Blinds.

• Not valid on Shutters (except No Drill Shutters) or Privacy Sheers.

• Valid for UK households only.

Price Match Guarantee

We won’t be beaten on price. If you find an identical made-to-measure product elsewhere in stock and available online at a lower price, we’ll refund the difference.

How to Claim

1. Place your order with DIY Blinds.

2. Within 30 days, notify us of the lower price, including:

   • The product you ordered (type, colour, material, size).

   • A link or screenshot showing the competitor’s price.

3. We’ll verify the claim and refund the difference within 3–5 working days.

Price Match Small Print

• Claim must be made after your order is placed; we can’t match quotes.

• Competitor must be a UK-based retailer.

• Price match applies only to product cost, not delivery.

• Promotional prices must be publicly available to all customers (excludes member-only or unique voucher deals).
